Money matters — but so does time, expertise, and advocacy. Here are four non-financial ways to contribute to BTI's mission.
01
Commit 2–4 hours per month to guide a BTI Academy participant through their venture-building journey. No travel required — mentorship is conducted remotely via video call or in person in Bujumbura.
Apply to Mentor02
Share your professional expertise through a workshop, guest lecture, or consulting session with BTI participants. Fields especially needed: finance, legal, technology, marketing, agribusiness, and logistics.
Offer Your Expertise03
Amplify BTI's work in your professional network, at events, on social media, and through introductions to potential donors or partners. No budget required — just your voice and belief in the mission.
Become an Ambassador04
Know a talented young Burundian who would thrive in the BTI Academy or benefit from the Sponsorship Fund? A referral from a trusted person is one of the most powerful contributions we receive.
Send a ReferralOur mentors are professionals, entrepreneurs, and subject-matter experts who commit a minimum of two hours per month to guiding a BTI Academy participant. The return on that investment — in human terms — is extraordinary.
Mentorship can be done remotely, in any language
